For existing Tier-1 accounts or wallets without BVN or NIN, any unfunded account or wallet will immediately be subject to ‘Post No Debit or Credit’ until the necessary requirements are fulfilled. Effective March 1, 2024, all funded accounts or wallets without BVN or NIN will be placed on ‘Post No Debit or Credit’, with no further transactions permitted. Furthermore, the BVN or NIN associated with all accounts or wallets must be electronically revalidated by January 31, 2024.
